Ayr Congress this weekend and entries so far are disappointing to say the least. If you can or know anyone else requiring a wee push to enter please do, or it may not exist next year.
Pairings and results will be found here.

The last congress of the season will soon be upon us at Largs, and all the latest news can be found in this thread.
Entry form and latest entrants will be available shortly on the Congress Event Page on the Chess Scotland Website, and the details of the accommodation available at our venue will be updated here in the next couple of days.
Players will once again be able to enter up to noon on Friday 22nd June, but if you enter early by midnight of Friday 1st June you will be entered into a Prize Draw to win half price entry for a calendar year at my congress events.

Shamkovich simul, Edinburgh 1978 |

Does anyone have the detailed results of the Shamkovich simul held at Adam House, Edinburgh on Wednesday, January 18 1978?
I cannot find a report in Scottish Chess or the BCM and Craig Pritchett's Glasgow Herald column of 21 January 1978 only mentioned that the GM scored 67%. Among those playing were Orr, Upton, Norris, Condie and Geoff Chandler (the last named was unable to provide full results).
