Events processed during season 2002-2003 appear here. The Chess Scotland grading team try for 100% accuracy in processing data. Please let us know immediately of any result errors and an amendment will be made - we also are looking for errors on clubs, spellings and junior ages (should be as at Jan 1, 2003). The date after an event date indicates the last time data was modified eg a correction may have been made to existing data.

NB: If you spot any errors or want to supply any additional info please contact the chief grader immediately. Grading@ChessScotland.com

Every single tournament and league result can be viewed on these pages. Junior sections at adult congresses are included within the adult results. Junior only tournaments are included below. Club data includes club championship and other club competitions eligible for grading as part of a club's Chess Scotland membership. League grading data is now listed below - we can now process partial league date if the grading info is supplied - ask your league controller to supply results to this page.

These are tournament grading results, which is not the same as full tournament results - byes and defaults are not processed for grading. NB The Chess Scotland Grand Prix uses tournament grading results.

Performance Event printouts now itemise player performance in addition to the difference between Actual and Expected score achieved. The Performance figure is a snapshot of how you would be assessed as if a new player based on the performance in that event. The performance is restricted to a maximum or minimum performance 400 points different from your average opposition. These figures are purely given for information and interest and have no impact on the normal calculations which can be seen in the Online Lookup section.

NB: The average opposition is the average of the opponents grade used in the latest grading run at the time the printout was created. This opponent grade for graded players is their published grade plus any addition and for ungraded or fast improving players is their estimated grade at the time of the event ie some of the opponents will be published as unrated but may have a temporary rating or a 200-Up rating by the time you play them in that event - the Online Lookup will clarify all figures. These temporary ratings change after every new game is added so the performance in any event would be subject to recalculation - hence the printout is just a snapshot at that moment.
