All Scottish, Scottish resident players or CS members who played in
the British Championships will have all results processed for CS grading.
Regardless of which grades were used during the event the following
will apply to Chess Scotland processing. If your opponent has a grade
in the 2003-2004 CS list that will be used first; if no CS grade then
a July 1 FIDE grade, if neither of these then a 2003-2004 BCF grade.
A copy of the new BCF list is still awaited on August 14 - so we have
been unable to verify all ratings yet. At the moment we would be interested
in any errors as to wrong results rather than wrong BCF grade used.
In some of the younger junior events we may just use a player's performance
where no published grade is available - in order to give some credit
for each game.
Only the three Weekender Events count for the Chessbase Grand Prix.
