I have also spotted a familiar name in the Women's tournament - Helen Milligan, playing under the flag of New Zealand...

Only Craig's game is on the live boards today. Currently watching this at http://worldsenior2013.rijekachess.com/e...mes/live-2. Having to use my Opera browser, as quite ridiculously the website recommends using another browser as states it does not work very well with Internet Explorer.

Good draw for Helen today. Her opponent, Elena Fatalibekova, was a very strong player in her heyday.

I'm following this closely as supporting my club mate, just saw all the results.

Since no-one's mentioned it...

Gaprindashvili ½ Milligan ½

Great result for Helen. Nona was none too pleased!

Superb! Particularly with all the accommodation problems Helen has faced (now sorted I believe =))

Hopefully she can keep up the good play. Good luck to our boys too!

That's a big name (no pun), a whopper. Are there any other Scots victories against former World Champions? Keti beat Smyslov once, but I don't think she could be claimed as a Scot at the time.

To make it slightly easier - how about Scot wins against future world champs?
