Great Scottish Swim
#1
I am participating in the Great Scottish Swim at Strathclyde park on the 24th of September. It is a 2 kilometre swim the length of the park.

Hopefully I am a bit better at swimming in open water than I am at Chess!

I am taking the opportunity to raise money for the Children's Liver Disease
Foundation, www.childliverdisease.org. Every day in Britain two children are diagnosed with liver disease. The CLDF provides support for children, young people and their families affected by liver disease. They also conduct research on liver disease.

Any donations, for what is a great cause, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

One week to go till the big day, and temperatures are decreasing!

I was swimming up at Balloch this morning bright and early, and it was a not so hot 12 degrees!

So far over £200 has been raised for the CLDF, with £90 currently on justgiving.

If anyone would like to sponsor me it can be done via the link above or in person.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, really does make a huge difference.

Dear all,

The swim is this Saturday commencing at 8 am.

There are roughly 1600 participants, with different groups leaving every half hour.

I am swimming at 11 am.

If anyone would like to come along, for what will be a good day out, you are more than welcome.

If anyone would like to participate there is also a reduced 1/2 mile course!
