Last week for entries...

Just to reassure those of you who have entered... I have encountered a few problems with the webpage which list the entrants. Many of you have contacted me to say your name has dropped off the list. Rest assured that i have all the correct data stored in my own list, which will be the one used for the event. The online list should be used as a guide only;-)

Brendan,
make sure they don't charge you for another two entry fees.

Maybe this is the fore runner to a fund raising scheme for congresses? Allow players to enter twice, they get two pairing cards and then they can choose their opponent.

Great congress and unfortunately having to skip it this time round. Wondering if I can follow my club mate and other games in the Open on live boards?

Well that will depend on three things

1) will I be able to set up the remote connection

2) will your team mates results get him onto the live board

3) Will my knee hold long enough for me to pack the car! (memo to self, don't wind up wife about her being on crutches..,.)

It was a really enjoyable weekend (apart from my chess Big Grin). The venue and playing conditions were excellent - a great job by the organising team, many thanks!

Apologies if I've been looking in the wrong place, but is there a 'proper' website (rather than what is available on the CS home page) where the round by round results, crosstables, games, photos etc etc are pulled together in one place?

If there is, how do I find it?

If there isn't, that would surprise me somewhat given the stature and prestige of the event.
