Yes we are having fun looking to see what we can do with the forum Big Grin

That is absolutely ace!

I love the interactive pgn to go through a whole game. That is quite a feature and a massive plus on the old board.
Growing old is compulsory, growing up is optional!

Looking good, although could be quite embarrassing to have your game published when you are on the receiving end of a trouncing.

Just Testing.

[pgn]1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. Ng5 d5 5. exd5 Nd4 6. d6 {a common blitz blunder} 6..Qxd6 7. Nxf7 Qc6 8. Nxh8 Qxg2 9. Rf1 Qe4+ 10. Be2 Nf3[/pgn]

You don't need all the usual PGN stuff. Just the bare score will do.
the above is simply:

1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. Ng5 d5 5. exd5 Nd4 6. d6 {a common blitz blunder} 6..Qxd6 7. Nxf7 Qc6 8. Nxh8 Qxg2 9. Rf1 Qe4+ 10. Be2 Nf3

And it works from a set-up position.

[pgn][FEN "r1b1kb1r/ppp2Npp/2q2n2/4p3/2Bn4/8/PPPP1PPP/RNBQK2R w KQkq - 0 1"]
1. Nxh8 Qxg2 2. Rf1 Qe4+ 3. Be2 Nf3[/pgn]

I added the FEN thus:

[FEN "r1b1kb1r/ppp2Npp/2q2n2/4p3/2Bn4/8/PPPP1PPP/RNBQK2R w KQkq - 0 1"]
1. Nxh8 Qxg2 2. Rf1 Qe4+ 3. Be2 Nf3

Then highlighted and added the PGN marker. Brilliant.

Good. I'm going to fill it up with Opening Traps!

Excellent this has the potential to make the Scottish Chess magazine redundant. All the interesting games can just be posted on here.

I wouldn't go that far! That said, it seems a potentially useful tool.

Type in moves without numbering them - impressive stuff
Must have N fot n for knight &c
x not * for capture
No need to announce check can't enter illegal moves

Extra spaces are no problem really impressive
