European Youth Chess Championships - ruairidhmckay - 03-08-2018

The European Youth Chess Championships will be taking place in Latvia from the 19th to 30th of August.

Competing from Scotland will be:

Under 18

Euan Dawson

Under 16

Lukah Connolly-Sams

Under 14

Benjamin Ridge
Dietah Connolly-Sams
James Hartman

Under 12

Alasdair Sandham

An Austrian has been caught cheating in the U14 Open.  He did not play any of the Scottish representatives.

A search of the toilets uncovered a phone which was subsequently found as belonging to the 13 year old.
