Bill Falconer
#1
The funeral for Bill has been organised for the large chapel at Morton Hall crematorium on Monday 8th June at 12 noon. The limit for attendees is 25. Ali and his wife will be there, Brenda his partner and 1 of her daughters, 3  neighbours, some members of the Asda staff, numbers unconfirmed at this stage and any members of the chess playing fraternity. It seems to me (Ali) that it will be a small number and the limit will not be reached.

Some sad news to share with everyone and that is that Bill Falconer passed away just over a week ago after a short illness.
Bill was a stalwart of Wandering Dragons Chess Club and during the 1990's a Chess Edinburgh and Lothian’s Council Member and
at Wandering Dragons, as well as being an active player also was an Office Bearer.
Bill was well known across Scotland playing in many events and is a sad loss to Chess.
