Scotland's seniors in Poland

Excellent result by 65+ team against the silver medallists Germany and achieving 5th place two places above their seeding and the 50+ team also finished in their seeded position, giving top seeds and gold medallists Italy a tough final match. With relatively small numbers of teams for nine round event there were inevitably some weird pairings in the later rounds but the top half teams all played each other and avoided bye in 65+ event which unfortunately had odd number of teams - are Poland short of old players!?
Will be interesting to have reports from the players on the tournaments, arrangements and the venue. Well done Scotland's Seniors!
