World Championship Candidates – London
Magnus Carlsen of Norway won the Candidates Tournament in London and has qualified to play a match for the world championship against Vishy Anand of India. However the young Norwegian had to rely on a superior tie-break to finish ahead of former champion Vladimir Kramnik after a dramatic final round in which both the leaders were defeated.
Preview: The race to find a challenger to world champion Vishy Anand on India takes place at the IET Savoy Place in London from March 14 - April 2.
