Scottish Championships – Dundee 2017
This year’s Scottish Championships in Dundee promises to be a bit different. The event will be held in the Bonar Hall, University of Dundee, Park Place, Dundee from 15-23 July. In addition to the usual afternoon International Open & Scottish Championship there will be events in the morning. Among the morning events will be the Scottish Blitz Championship, a Rapidplay and Senior and Junior Championships supported by the Fairhurst company.
Current entry has 3 Grandmasters and there is a possibility of 2 more. With current titled players, there are now norm possibilities.

Dundee 150th Anniversary Invitational Grandmaster Tournament (supported by 4J Studios) Facebook Website
The Grandmaster Invitational will be held in the Bonar Hall from 14th July to 23rd July 2017. This tournament will re-create the original Dundee tournament of 1867 and the 100th anniversary tournament held in 1967.
July 11: The ten players have been announced who will compete in Dundee 150 (supported by 4J Studios). Fridrick Olafsson (Iceland) has had to withdraw and is replaced by Keith Arkell (England).
