Richardson Cup etc – update

Richardson & Spens

Keith Rose Home Chess Director (Open), has published today the draw for both the Richardson Cup and Spens Cup.  The details are on the discussion forum and can be accessed here website page which also contains links to the new season's rules as well as details of previous results.

Dates added to calendar:-

10 Oct, 29 Nov, 24 Jan, 14 Mar & 25 April. Andy Muir International Director (Open), has arranged the final to be played on the 25 April at Grangemouth CE Centre with a start time of 13:00.

Nancy Elder
There is still time to enter the Nancy Elder - Closing date 23 October.  There are 20 entries so far with more known to be 'in the pipeline'.

The Nancy Elder is an individual competition for club level players. The entry cost is £3 per player or £5 per club for up to three entries or multiples thereof. The competition is played under these rules; other relevant information is on this website page.  To enter the Nancy Elder, either:-

(a) enter via your club secretary, or,
(b) notify your entry direct to Membership Secretary

If you select option (b) please use this Entry form To avoid postage, you could consider using PayPal.   Please use the donate button for the sensory board appeal (in the left hand panel of the home page).  On receipt of a PayPal payment, I will re-designate your payment from the sensory board appeal to Nancy Elder entry fees.  Please forward any questions/issues to Keith or to me.
