London Chess Classic 2015
World Champion Magnus Carlsen won the 7th London Chess Classic after a play off and also won the inaugural Grand Chess Tour.
The Classic took place December 4-13, 2015 at The Olympia Conference Centre. The field included world champion Magnus Carlsen, Fabiano Caruana, Hikaru Nakamura, Veselin Topalov, Alexander Grischuk, Vishy Anand, Anish Giri, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave and Levon Aronian. The LCC organisers had nominated Michael Adams as the tenth player. The LCC was the strongest event ever held in the UK.
