Glorney Gilbert Junior International 2019

The ICU is pleased to confirm that the Glorney Gilbert International 2019 will be held on 21st – 24th July 2019 in the Carrickdale Hotel and Spa, Co Louth, Ireland.
The Carrickdale is one of the most renowned hotels in Co Louth offering large playing halls, analysis rooms and 108 bedrooms, all recently renovated, to suit every accommodation need. The Leisure Centre includes a 17.5 m indoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi, outdoor hot tub and gymnasium, alongside a 3G football pitch, tennis and basketball court. The Carrickdale is situated less than an hour north of Dublin airport and ferry port and about the same south of Belfast/Larne. For more see https://www.carrickdale.com/index.html.
The event will comprise four separate tournaments, each a five-round all-play-all.
The Glorney Cup – 5 player U18 Open (ie born 2001 or later)
The Gilbert Cup – 3 player U18 Girls (ie born 2001 or later)
The Robinson Cup – 6 player U14 Open (ie born 2005 or later)
The Stokes Cup – 6 player U12 Open (ie born 2007 or later)
Formal invitations will be issued to England, Scotland, Wales, France and Netherlands within March. This invitation will be to send one team for each of the four Cups (a total playing squad of 20) together with coaches, parents and other members of your delegation.
To ensure sufficient accommodation is made available for each delegation in the Carrickdale, all accommodation arrangements, special requests and reservations will be made via the ICU block booking.
