Glasgow Allegro 2015
Players from Aberdeen to Dumfries, and a fair few places in between, descended on the Queen Margaret Student's Union on Saturday 14th November 2015 for the thrills and spills of the annual allegro organised by the Glasgow Chess League. Excellent performances were achieved by Patrick Coffey, Evis Perdikou and Bernard Cassidy in winning their respective sections, each dropping only half a point along the way. Other notable performances came from juniors Monica Espinosa Cancino, Euan Gray, Andrew McCusker, Kalyan Kante and Benjamin Ridge, and newcomers to Scottish chess Junhao Xian and Nicolas Skettos.
