Half day Taster - 1pm
As well as the full day events, Lothian Junior Chess are also running a 'Taster Tournament'. This will be a miniature version of the main event, with just three rounds of games from 1pm. This is targeted at younger children and those who feel that to start straight into a six round event might be too big a first step. Entry for the taster is limited to P5 and under, and the players should not yet have a grading and have played in less than two of our events.
For this event we are using online entries - this should ease congestion at the registration desk. You need to select your tickets, enter your payment details to pay and then provide information about the child (or children!) that you have entered.
