A Scottish Chess Tour Event. Please note, this event is experimental and is restricted to Chess Scotland members and those players we have contact details of from previous Scottish Chess Tour events.

Should we attract sufficient entries, the Open will be split and we will hold a separate Major event.

Rate of Play
Each player will have 20 minutes plus a 5 second increment per move from move 1.
Rating/Grading
CS gradings will be used pairing a tournament limits.
For players who do not appear in the standard list, other lists may be used at the discretion of the organisers. Ungraded players must provide evidence for the organisers to assess their playing strength and any previous known grade must be declared.
Results will be rated on the platform, but will not be submitted to CS for grading.
