Chess in Schools Commission

FIDE have launched a Chess in Schools Commission web site!

You will find it at:  cis.fide.com

There is also a banner link on the front page of the main FIDE web site (www.fide.com).

It will fulfil all the normal functions, such as keeping you up to date with news of relevance to Chess in Schools (News, Reports, Schedule), providing a rich resource of research and teaching materials (Information and Resource Centre). There is also an innovative section for you to submit videos that you consider to be of interest and relevance to our mission of developing Chess in Schools. Perhaps most important of all, you will be able to follow the progress of our exciting “Special Projects,” at least one of which will be launched later this year; we are currently negotiating with Slovakia.

Please feel free to contact us with material for  the site, especially items for the Information and Resource Centre or news of your projects.
