35th Scottish Team Lightning Championship

Grangemouth
December 6, 2009

Eleven teams took part in the 2009 Scottish Team Lightning Championship at Grangemouth on Sunday 6 December. Despite the disappointing entry the competition was intense and the margin of victory for Hamilton A was not great as the outcome was uncertain until the last round. Dundee & Victoria were clear runners up with multiple past-winners Shettleston in third.

For the winners Stephen Burns-Mannion had 7/10, Joe Redpath and Pat Coffey had 9 ½ and Andrew Muir had 9. For Dundee & Victoria, Colin McNab had 8, Chaski 7 ½ , David Findlay 8 ½ and Ed Spencer 8. Top scorer on board 1 was Douglas Bryson of Shettleston with 10.
