European Youth Championships 2001

Christopher MacDonald, aged 12, of Dollar will become the youngest Scot to gain a FIDE rating after his performance at the European Youth Championships which finished on September 9, 2001 in Greece. Chris scored 5.5/9 in the Under-12 section and this should result in a new rating of 2015 when the next FIDE list is published in October.
