Has anyone (jumped the gun) and thought of a strategy for the armageddon games yet?

How much time is draw odds worth in a 45-minute game? Hmmm.....

On another point, a half-point bye is 'permitted in any round as long as you alert the organiser before the tournament begins'.
I'll take mine in the play-offs (in case I get there) and will bid for the smallest amount of time the clocks can handle, get black and go through courtesy of my bye Big Grin

The deadline has officially passed - 14 players have entered:

FM Alan Tate 2349
Calum MacQueen 2272
Andrew Burnett 2249
Gabriel Petesch 2248
FM Neil Berry 2216
Adam Bremner 2194
Andrew Green 2159
David Oswald 2048
Hamish Olson 2047
Graeme Kafka 2027
Jonathan Scott 2033
Jonathan Edwards 1987
Fabio Biancalana 1927
Shivan Murdochy 1925

However, there are still 10 spaces available, so if anyone wishes to enter please let me know by Thursday.

P.S Andy - I guess it depends who you are playing?! Calum MacQueen and I were playing Armageddon matches with 10 mins for White and 5 for Black - White got a huge score. 45 mins is a different game though!
