Patrick McGovern Wrote:As noted at the AGM not all directorships are filled so it is difficult to get people to do the job. They are a rare breed hopefully not to become extinct.

Just as a matter of interest what directorships require to be filled. Now may be an opportune time to bring this back to the attention of the membership and look for short term volunteers till the AGM.

Still think Steve should reconsider - but I also understand his reasoning.

Congratulations to Edinburgh CC on a well-deserved victory yesterday. It was a tough match but they always seemed to have the edge from early on and held their nerve extremely well when it mattered. Good luck in the final guys Smile

Not sure whose job it was to send in the official scorecard (I don't recall even seeing one - just scribbled team lists/scores on a sheet of lined paper!) but just for information....

(b) Alan Tate 1-0 Calum MacQueen
(w) Andrew Burnett 0.5-0.5 Neil Berry

3 -3 - Hamilton B win on board count. Disappointingly defaulting two boards.

Hi Andrew

The score for this match was Irvine 1 - Kilmarnock Burns 5.

Scores as follows:

6369 P Walsh (W) .5 - 0.5 J Shaw 5961
3199 A Birnie (B) 0-1 E Frew 7506
4597 G King (W) 0-1 S Brown 3319
6234 D Thomson (B) 0-1 A Roy 14894
16666 R Copeland (W) .5-.5 D Gillespie 17274
5949 J Shankland (B) 0-1 P McGovern 5063

I think Phil Walsh should be highlighted after taking a draw against John Shaw over 500 points above him and a GM and in the previous round he beat Tom Donoghue 250 points ahead.

Regards

Rob
