good to hear Andy. I am sure the offer you made regarding the glorney was well appreciated and underlines your passion for the event. I am sure you would work well with David Congalton in the future. I for one appreciate the gesture you made and I hope you saw the work done by Jim Webster and others on the day to tidy up the wording in order to get the motion passed.

Yes thanks to Jim and others on this. I hadn't appreciated that a player's ELO number reflected the country they were originally affiliated to. I look forward to working with all of the directors in the coming years.

Is there a reason for the accounts not being ready for the AGM?
one of the purposes of the AGM is to receive the accounts audited at the meeting.

In no particular order - Work, family, 6 weeks of illness in May and June, organising chess congresses, Primary Individual, Glorney, Under 16 Olympiad, Euroyouth, Liverpool Quadrangular, next year's Primary Individual, 2018 Glorney and a holiday at the end of July/beginning of August, are among the reasons this year's accounts were not ready for the AGM and are 4 to 6 weeks away from going to the auditors.
