Fighting and Dynamic chess: Korchnoi and Larsen – Training seminar

A training event intended to improve attacking and counter-attacking skills using examples from Korchnoi to Larsen. Key principles of how to play dynamically will be covered. The primary focus will be on practical application through solving exercises and playing positions. Aimed at all aspiring players prepared to work hard on improving their game, up to titled level.

FIDE Trainer Jonathan Grant will run the sessions in conjunction with Edinburgh Chess Club. In a special session during the weekend, FIDE Trainer and GM Keti Arakhamia-Grant will explain what she learnt from her personal encounters with Korchnoi and Larsen.

Entry:

The fee, whether attending one or all sessions, is £45 for adults and £35 for juniors (U18).

Friday 4 March 2016 6:45 pm – 9:45 pm
Saturday 5 March 2016 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Sunday 6 March 2016 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Saturday Evening Meal:

Please indicate if you would be interested in participating in a group evening meal at a restaurant in Edinburgh on the Saturday night, costs to be covered by individual participants.

1st Aberdeen Chess Training Seminar should have been advertised on the chess Scotland website.

If it was mentioned it was difficult to find !

Report afterwards was on Chess Scotland site - but I saw no advertisement before it took place.
