What is this game, from Chess for Kicks or something!?!

According to my Fritz, 5...Be7 is an improvement by Hamish on the game below, although the end result was the same, Hamish took one and a half moves less to complete the job.

Phenomenal tournament by Neil.

That game is quite fun. I see his opponent has tried to copy Jobava, with this d4 Nc3 Bf4 set up. It reminds me of a time I tried to copy Kamsky in the opening and when I tried to use this reason to justify my choice to my 2600 opponent, he just replied "yes, but you are not Kamsky". So true.

Neil Irving's tournament blog is on Bon Accord's awesome new website https://bonaccordchess.wordpress.com with some of his and my games annotated with diagrams.

My version is on Bon Accord's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/bonaccordchessclub?ref=hl with some of my games annotated and a couple of photos. https://www.facebook.com/bonaccordchess ... =1&theater was my tournament inspiration!
