In the European Team Championships I will not have work/family distractions when preparing.
In the Richardson Cup I will have work/family distractions when preparing.
Completely different so I prefer Richardson not FIDE rated with no preparation time so as not to give advantage to unemployed single people.

for iceland I will do 2 hours prep before a game
for richardson I will do none - no time - dont arrive home from work till 8pm on friday night
have to keep family amused - do chores etc
