Both Clement and I have hit the 2300 mark between lists. We don't have to have a 'published' rating of 2300 on, say, Jan 1st or Feb. 1st.

There are a lot of good, strong tournaments out here in Czech/Slovak (also Poland/Humgary etc) - it's just more 'acceptable' culturally!

Over there is there chess on tv or government sponsorship or why is culture different ? where does the money come from ?
