Yep Ali is letting the breeze talk!

Mike, she looked desperately unlucky that f5 didn't quite work for her a little earlier. Bc4+ for white followed by NxB looked really dangerous.

We have Kenya this morning and realistically, we should win this well. Every opponent must be treated with respect however at this level, so good luck to them.

Re: U16 Olympiad - Andy Howie - 31-10-2011

So it comes down to Sam and C.M Whitfied to determine who finishes higher, Scotland or England Big Grin

Re: U16 Olympiad - Andy Howie - 31-10-2011

If I have worked it out correctly, I make us 12th above some really strong nations!

Re: U16 Olympiad - robin moore - 31-10-2011

Finishing 12th when seeded 19th is a fantastic result and we were not far behind quite a few other teams. Well done to everyone on a terrific effort.

Robin.

Re: U16 Olympiad - Angus McDonald - 31-10-2011

12th is a very strong result.

Ahead of Georgia and Czech Republic.

Well done to all.

Re: U16 Olympiad - Clement Sreeves - 31-10-2011

Good work everyone, great result!

Re: U16 Olympiad - robin moore - 03-11-2011

Team arrived safely home last night, minus their luggage which was still in Amsterdam ! Everyone apparently had a wonderful time and met lots of new friends. Charlie also said that if they had an early morning match, they decided it was an early bed the night before for all. No issues whatsoever, a very successful tournament.

Robin.

Re: U16 Olympiad - Patrick McGovern - 05-11-2011
