a very pleasant surprise at the EGM in that there was sensible, reasoned discussion and debate. Learned men putting points across and being listened to setting a great example on how meetings should be conducted.
Compromise was reached that left everyone happy and should result in robust legislation that allows clubs, leagues and associations to self regulate along with the support of Chess Scotland. It was a pleasure to be present at this meeting. Cheers!
