Just as close as the score suggests. Young Euan showed great nerve to bring home the decisive point in the last game to finish. West got their 2 wins on the board first and certainly had chances to win the match. The match was played in great spirit and the West players were admirably sporting in defeat.

Yeah a really good cup tie. Every board had under 120 CS points between the players. Thanks to West for the match, great sports.

It might be time to ask why the top players aren't playing the Richardson. Forget asking team captains, as the players!
