The second Inverness congress will take place from the 6th to the 8th of June, 2014. I am posting advance notice to allow players to get the best possible accommodation and travel deals. Entry forms will be available soon.

To ensure comfortable playing conditions entry is restricted to the first 64 entrants.

For those considering playing, the event will run along similar lines to 2013, details of which are still on the www.hichess.co.uk website, although incremental time controls will be introduced. Entries will be accepted now for the event, by e-mail. The e-mail address is also on the website.
The 2013 really was an excellent event and I would encourage as many players as possible to enter this. It really was a fun tournament in a really nice hotel.
First entry received. Only 63 spaces left. Enter early to avoid disappointment. :U
David,
just about to leave for a weekend in the highlands.

Can you reserve a place for me in this event?
I'm about 98% certain that I'll be willing and able to play but I didn't see the entry form on-line

September event was great, holding the event in June that far north might make it possible to nail a Munro between rounds 1 and 2.
Phil

Place reserved for you.

Just waiting on a couple of bits of feedback before publishing the entry form.

Thanks for your support
Places for the 2nd Inverness Congress are steadily filling up. There is limited capacity at this event of 64 spaces across the three sections.

absolutely brilliant event! Seriously don't miss it
Less than three weeks to go until the Inverness Congress and only 25 spaces left.

I understand the venue hotel is fully booked but Inverness isn't a huge place and most of the B&B's and hotels are within walking distance of the venue.

Only 2 spaces left for the weekend congress in Inverness.

Due to the size of the venue I will be unable to take any more entries once the 2 spaces have been filled. The spaces will be filled in a first come first served basis.

The congress website has a full list of entrants to date, in grading order. www.hichess.co.uk
Another excellent Inverness congress looming.

The organisers have organised everything well including good hill walking weather for today.

Leaving in a few minutes and planning to nail the Loch Lochy Munros on the way North.
