but where would that leave us poor wood pushers? Alan has dedicated a large part of his time to improving his chess with magnificent results BUT, for the rest of us we need to be creative in achieving results. Some underhand efforts include stealing your opponents favourite pen, resulting in him losing on time. I know others but i will leave it to Robin et al to enlighten us. In fact there should be a prize for the most creative way of prising the point from your opponent 8)
Offering a draw in a worse position makes you run the risk of looking a bit silly when your opponent simply plays on.
