From John Montgomery, on the passing of Steve Clark, a major loss for Chess , we all know what a character he was.

"Steve Clark a long time member of Irvine chess club passed away yesterday 1st November 2021 after a long illness
 
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends"

I was told last night. He was a great man.
Rest in peace mate.

With being away at Riga and Dubai, I did not see this until earlier.

Steve Clark, someone I got on with brilliantly. Amazing sense of humour. Really is going to be a loss to chess.
