Is it theoretically possible to obtain a norm through results in the Scottish National Chess League?

I looked at your performance so far and wondered the same thing George Smile

I'm sure Andy or Alex will give you a 'proper' answer, but as far as I am aware it is theoretically possible. You would need opponents from at least 2 other federations, a minimum opponent's rating of 2230 and a rating performance of 2450+, plus play at least 3 IM's.

The rules are here <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="https://www.fide.com/fide/handbook.html?id=174&view=article">https://www.fide.com/fide/handbook.html ... ew=article</a><!-- m --> (but obviously a bit arcane)
You need 9 games I'm afraid.

Thanks for checking.
