From the BCM 1906, p 452: We regret to notice the death of Mr Martinus Thomson, one of the older members of the Glasgow C.C., in which he had held several official posts, including that of secretary. Though not a strong player, Mr Thomson was one of the most constant attenders at the club, and a chess enthusiast....'
