William Sharp

Died: 20 November 1943 (age 79), Greenock.

Glasgow Herald chess column of 26 November 1943:
The death took place last Saturday of Mr William Sharp, Greenock, a member of Glasgow CC since 1893, and in his younger days a leading player in the Greenock club's Richardson and Spens teams.

Notes:
Mr Sharp was a member of the Greenock CC teams that won the Spens Cup in 1911 and 1923.
