Roderick Scott J.P.

Died: 06 December 1922, at sea.

From the BCM 1923, p 18: The death occurred last month of Mr Roderick Scott, J.P., of Glasgow. Aged 86, Mr Scott was a prominent player and ex-president of the Glasgow C.C., and was very popular in both chess and city circles. He died at sea, while on a voyage to Australia for the benefit of his health.
