David Philip Grassam

Associated with Falkirk Chess Club from 1929. Mr Grassam, a chemist, died at his home at 4 Napier Place, Falkirk.

The Falkirk Herald chess column of 21 October 1936, p15, and the 1936 BCM, p547, reported his name as Grassom, but his birth and marriage records and a newspaper death notice all show Grassam.
