Richardson Cup 1952-1953

result of the inaugural Richardson final by defeating Dundee. For holders
Polytechnic its back to normal business in the relegation tournament after a
first round drubbing from Bon Accord. There are various missing results,
details of which would be appreciated.

Dundee were at home in the replayed final on Saturday, 25 April 1953. Edinburgh won 5½-1½. Neither the Glasgow Herald chess column of 1 May 1953 nor the June BCM gave the team lists.
