Richardson Cup 1933

The final was played on Saturday, February 11 between two of the strongest Glasgow clubs. Central had won this event in 1929 by defeating Glasgow CC in the final, but now Glasgow reverses this result in a decisive manner.

This would be the last time that Central appeared in a Richardson Cup final, although they would have later successes in the Spens Cup after 1946.

The report in The Scotsman gives only the match result, other than to say that Fairhurst defeated MacIsaac rather easily.
