With the reduction of the number of teams in the league, this is likely to be the lowest division next season. Mar 27 Comment After many years of failing to make the promotion places, Renfrew finally wipe the floor with the entire division and behave themselves to gain promotion back to division 3 for the first time since 1994. They will be joined by Bishopbriggs if they defeat Poly D in their last match or by Cathcart C. There will be no relegation here, although Holy Cross D probably wish there was though to be fair they have still to play two of the teams in the bottom half of the division. February 23 Comment Another withdrawal here when Giffnock who once had at least 6 teams in the Glasgow League had to withdraw their 3rd team leaving only 8 teams in the division and no relegation. Renfrew look set to win the title and amazingly appear not to have committed any serious admin violations, defaulted a significant number of boards, or even been hauled before a disputes panel. However the match with second placed Cathcart D will prove critical to the final destination of the division 4 championship. Further down there remains a lot of water to flow under the bridge before matters are decided. There would appear to be a few missing results here, or unnotified postponements. December 08 Comment Its a slow start in division 4 with the withdrawal of Carluke and 2 sides who appear not to have played any matches. We await further developments.....
