Alistair Maxwell
of Cathcart CC has compiled a database of Scottish Olympiad games
from Folkestone 1933 up to Istanbul 2000 - a superb archive of
Scotland's international history.
The latest revision January 18, 2001 (Revised
again Feb 1 with assistance from Chess Scotland historian Alan
McGowan) now includes a separate archive for all Scottish
Womens Olympiads. (Please notify Alistair of any errors or omissions).
NB: These games are intended as a free
service to regular participants in Scottish tournaments and not
as material for re-sale by commercial organisations.
The following files contain Scottish chess games
in PGN format. Compatible software will be required to view these
games.
PGN (Portable game notation) is the preferred
format for game downloads. Anyone who prefers another format should
be able to convert within their own software.
