The following files contain Scottish chess games in PGN format. Compatible software will be required to view these games.

PGN (Portable game notation) is the preferred format for game downloads. Anyone who prefers another format should be able to convert within their own software.

ChessBase Light ChessBase Light is a special version of ChessBase for free download. It is basically limited to 8000 games per database and supports the CBH format of ChessBase 6 and Fritz5 and the PGN format. Within the 8000 games barrier there is no limit to save, copy, convert, annotate, print, search, analyse, merge and classify games.

Download the free ChessBase Light program from the Chessbase website.

Bernard Milligan has compiled several in-depth reviews of Chessbase software at the following link: Chessbase Software
