Glorney and Faber 2015 - Alan Jelfs - 28-06-2015

I note Matthew Turner is disappointed these competitions aren't getting the coverage they deserve, so here we go.

My club mate Lennart Koehn is a bit apprehensive about being Board 1 this year, but looking forward to visiting Ireland.

Is it possible that CS wish to keep the lid on the team composition and board order in order to minimise our opponents prep?

Unlikely that,
last I heard the parents were not even informed who the chaperones will be.

Last I heard the players were actually told to make their own way to Ireland - secrecy taken a little too far methinks

Correct I believe.

Re: Glorney and Faber 2015 - George Neave - 06-07-2015

where is the Scottish team published?

Re: Glorney and Faber 2015 - andyburnett - 06-07-2015

It isn't George, and likely won't be until the last minute.

Player lists are up on the website http://www.glorneycupchess.org/

England and Ireland are highest rated in the Glorney, Scots not far behind.
In the Gilbert England and Wales highest rated, looks tough for the Scots on ratings.

Is Morrison Dietah a typo.?

Probably should read Dietah Connolly-Sams

Remember these ratings were our start of season ones. The majority of players have either 200upd, or had a significant rise.
