Despite a near capacity entry of 62 forcing us to resuscitate clocks of a type last used in the Steinitz - Lasker World Championship Match everything seemed to go OK. Even some short Hamilton draws;- couldn't upset us!

Reserve: 1st & Junior prize C Woods (Hamilton) 4 1/2/5
2nd = I McKechnie & T Doherty (Dalmuir), J Weir (DnA) 4/5

G Alomenu (Glasgow Montrose) S MacQueen & C Petrie (Giffnock) 3/5.
